The Venture Avalanche Launcher is a grade 3 Weapon block manufactured by Venture. Like all Venture blocks, it can be crafted with a Venture Fabricator.

Usage

The Avalanche Launcher is one of the most powerful avaliable weapon blocks, rivaling the effectiveness of every other weapon. It rapidly burst-fires two homing missiles with an extremely short cool-down between each burst. These missiles are not very damaging, nor do they have excellent range, and furthermore, they occupy more space than the Hawkeye Seeker Missile Pod but deals lower damage, but this is compensated by the extremely high accuracy due to the reduced missile speed, allowing them to hit targets at extreme angles. Compared to the cluster missiles, the Avalanche is able to pummel the enemy with a consistent stream of rockets and therefore has much more maneuvering room for the user. However, it must be in larger quantities in order to effectively kite larger enemies, and, like all weapons, adequate protection is vital to it's usage.

Trivia

• If the missiles are mid-air when an enemy suddenly comes into lock-on range, they will aggressively chase it despite the player never locked onto it while the missiles fired.
• The name comes from the white trail created by the missiles and its high rate of fire, thereby stacking them quickly, with the resulting visual effect similar to the namesake Natural Disaster.
• The name used to be Venture Avalanche Rocket Launcher, and the rarity used to be rare.
• The Chinese translation for this weapon is "火风暴导弹发射器", which means "Firestorm rocket Launcher".
