GSO Turbine Propeller
3GSO Turbine Propeller
Prefab Name: GSO_Fan_221
Health Points: 300
|An enclosed propeller fan to propel you forwards and upwards!|
It has 4 attachment point(s) and takes up 4 cell(s).
Usage[edit | edit source]
An average rotor, this is the first thing that makes flight possible. The red part of the block is where the thrust will push you, so keep that in mind when using it to construct a flying tech. While the thrust is reasonable, one should control the amount equipped, as too many of them will cause the rotors unable to support their own weight even with other flight blocks, and it also does not work when the number is too small. A few would be fine, but remember that it's best for thrust, and as for lift, it's better to use hover pads when at lower altitudes, as they are more efficient. Additionally, it can also be used to push grounded techs, so if the quantity of flight blocks is insufficient, this rotor will still have a spot. But in the late game, it's outclassed my most other propulsion flight blocks - Which are either much lighter, provides better thrust, or both.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The turbine propeller resembles the rotors of a Hovercraft. It also looks like a conventional household fan with grating.
- The prefab name directly references this.
- It is the only GSO regular thruster flight block that is not an adjustment thruster.
