Similar to all other receivers, it is able to pick up loose resource chunks/components that are either held by the collector on an allied Tech or on nearby ground, so they can be transported to other production blocks. Most of it's statistics were superior to all other collectors.
The GeoCorp Resource Receiver can hold 24 items in 4 stack of 6 and has a pick up range of 9 blocks.
While receivers can be used on moving techs they will start losing items at the speed around 130 mph.
