Description
Bomber Command may seem stuffy and old fashioned to you, but you should respect him. He's a master of aerial combat and has been leading bomber squadrons for over five decades. On the downside, he does also sometimes take loud phone calls whilst in the quiet coach on interstellar cruisers.

The Hawkeye Bomber Command Cab is a grade 2 Control block manufactured by Hawkeye. Like all Hawkeye blocks, it can be crafted with a Hawkeye Fabricator.

It has 4 attachment point(s) and takes up 8 cell(s).

Usage[ | ]

The Bomber Command Cab behaves like a large player cab that has no movement functions. However, for it's size, it is quite sturdy at the cost of less APs than other cabs. It also comes has an integrated radar accessory, which saves some space for the player to place other blocks.

Trivia[ | ]

  • This block has the highest fuel capacity out of every block that has this property in the entire game, at 200, surpassing the Hawkeye Fuel Tank's 188. Cell Count wise, it is not very efficient, as it means 25 per cell, which is equal to a GSO Popper Fuel Tank or other Hawkeye control modules. 8 Venture A.I. Guard Modules can serve as better alternative in that regard, topping at 400 fuels in the same 8 cells space.
  • It is the largest control block in the entire game, taking up eight cells in total.
    • The GeoCorp/Better Future control blocks can also occupy 8 cells, but only when fully expanded. Otherwise, they take 4 cells instead.
  • This block serves as some lore on Bomber Command NPC.
    • Ironically, Bomber Command resembles an AC Tower, so practically he cannot lead aerial combat under these circumstances. However, since he was implied to be leading bomber squads for 50 years at least, he could be either just a static commander or actually did flew aircraft before.
  • The Bomber Command Cab was already in the game long before 1.3.9.1. In fact, it was there even before Bomber Command existed. However, it only appears on the respective NPC and is unusable for players, unless they enter RND Labs or Creative Mode and load a Hacked Snapshot.
    • In that case, the block's name will be replaced with "This Block No Longer Exists".
